Brewers' McClung has suspension and fine revoked

09/28/2007 - Milwaukee, WI (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Milwaukee Brewers reliever Seth McClung had a three-game suspension and undisclosed fine wiped off the books Friday, just a day after Major League Baseball handed down the disciplinary ruling.

McClung and Brewers manager Ned Yost were both ejected from Wednesday's 7-3 loss against St. Louis after McClung hit Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols with a pitch in the eighth inning.

On Thursday McClung was suspended three games and Yost one after the commissioner's office concluded the pitcher had intentionally hit Pujols. Both were also fined.

Yost served his suspension Thursday night, with bench coach Dale Sveum managing in his place. McClung appealed, however, and had the suspension and fine revoked by John McHale, the league's vice president of administration.

Milwaukee enters play Friday two games behind the Chicago Cubs in the National League Central division with three to play.

Huskers' Lucky hospitalized for undisclosed reason

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska running back Marlon Lucky was hospitalized Monday for undisclosed reasons after Lincoln police responded to a call at his residence.

The Nebraska athletic department said in a release Monday that Lucky was admitted Sunday night.
